Westport GX 2010 15L LNG Engine Gets 2010 EPA Certification

The Westport GX 2010 15L engine has been given an EPA 2010 emissions compliance certificate without requiring emissions certificates to get it.  The Westport GX is a liquid natural gas (LNG) engine that has also received ITRD certification in Australia (Australian Design Rules 80/03) for the 2011 ADR.

The Westport GX is based on the Cummins ISX diesel using Westport’s LNG fuel system.  It is available in power ratings from 405hp to 475hp with torques ranging from 1,450-1,750lb-ft (1,966-2,373Nm).

The Westport GX is available as a Cummins replacement option at the factory on all Paccar Trucks (Kenworth, Peterbilt).
