Balqon Corporation, which makes all-electric commercial trucks and dock spotters, has closed a deal with China-based DynaProTech for electric drive systems. The initial $490,000 deal will send Balqon’s electric drive systems to China where DynaProTech will add them to their lineup of chassis including buses, heavy trucks, etc. for sale to the Chinese market.
China is largely considered the world’s second-largest market for electric-drive vehicles, second only to the U.S. (where Balqon is based). This also cinches yet another deal in Balqon’s moves into expanding world markets with their technologies.
Recent agreements have put Balqon trucks and systems into Europe, South America, and others will continuing development of its platforms. DynaProTech is the sixth international deal Balqon has put together this year. Others include Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Europe, and Spain.
Balqon is quickly becoming the world’s premier electric heavy trucking technology provider.
